Ever since I was a little kid, I have enjoyed telling stories. It wasn’t just the relaying of information, but the immersion into another time, another realm that intrigued me about storytelling. It didn’t matter if it was answering a simple question or relaying a historical fact, I always had to make it into a story. I wrote my first “story” when I was 8 years old. I had typed it out on our old metal typewriter. By the time I was 12 I had written my first book, again on a typewriter, and had even designed the cover page. Because I didn’t really have any production or publication funds, I was only able to make one copy, and unfortunately, that single copy has been lost to time.

Over time I continued to tell stories, especially when camping, and even writing some down. However, it wasn’t till I suffered a major heart failure in 2012, that I finally focused my desire to truly write and publish a story. Within a year of receiving a pacemaker/defibrillator to keep me alive I started to write my first published book, Detriment.

I haven’t stopped writing since. It has not been easy, and I still have a long way to go, but I am grateful every day that I have this opportunity. It is a blessing I will never forget.

The Lost Nation Series

After an attack upon the United States power grid, America is thrown into the dark. A punishing and deadly event which would last for over six months and cost the lives of millions. By the time the power grid is restored and the lights turned back on, the citizens of America find themselves in an unfamiliar situation. America is no longer the land of the free, but is an occupied third world country, being ruled by a foreign nation.

The Lost Nation Series follows those who are willing to stand and fight, to restore America back to the people. To make it the land of the free, and a self-governed nation once again. It will make you question, what are you willing to lose, and more importantly what are you willing to sacrifice to get it all back?

The Great Boat Race: Dover to Dunkirk

A story, years in the making, takes a different look at the historic rescue of British and French troops upon the shores of Dunkirk France, during the early stages of World War II.  Though this story is fictional, it is greatly based upon actual events and stories as they were relayed by the survivors of Operation Dynamo.

In the story of the Great Boat Race, you will follow the stories of a father and son who must ask themselves if they are willing to sacrifice their lives for the sake of a nation. You will also follow a British BEF soldier, a French civilian and a German Panzer commander, as they all are faced with the complexing and difficult question of honor to Nation and to self. At what point are the lives of other more important than your own. Better yet, when is the life of a stranger worth more than the lives of your children, your family?

The Jaguar Eye: A GateKeepers Chronicle

What is a GateKeeper?  That is a question Rome, Eli, and Nora had asked themselves more than once.  But the bigger question has been, why were they chosen to be one?

When they started their Sophomore year in High School they thought it would be a normal and basically boring year.  The only highlight of the year would be the obtaining of their driver's license. Little did they know that before they had their first school dance of the year, they would travel from 900 AD Mesoamerica to 1900s Russia.  Where they faced off against the most powerful Forbidden ever known.

For over 2,000 years GateKeepers have been humanities greatest secrets and its greatest weapons against evil.  Not just for this life, but for the life to come as well.  The struggle for humanities eternal salvation has been fought between Good vs Evil for centuries.  It is the duty of the GateKeepers to ensure humanity has a fighting chance in the upcoming war. A war which will decide one and for all, who has sway over mankind for all Eternity!

If you think you are ready, and if you think you can make a difference, then this book is for you.  Come and join the adventures of a GateKeeper.
