From ASU to the ABC
Jennifer Johnson (Ms Jen) graduated from ASU with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a desire to help all student love reading. She has over 20 years of experience teaching. She has taught little ones, as young as 18 months old, all the way to adults. She loves to read. That love led her to teaching. Her favorite part of teaching is showing each student they can have fun and love learning. Having a love for learning can boost confidence and give students a desire to learn more and more. That desire can also lead to a life time of improvement and success. In 2008 she created her own curriculum that fused phonic and whole language in a way that was perfect for the youngest of readers. She began teaching a small preschool in her home and it soon grow beyond what she even imagined.
